Pinetown is situated between Kloof and Westville. This suburb of Durban has earned quite a reputation in the property market, especially amongst first time buyers since this surburb is nestled at the foot of Field's Hills which forms part of the route in the Annual Comrades Marathon. Although this area is popularly known as Pinetown, Pinetown proper heightens between Caversham, Glen, and Manors. This suburb offers many amenities such as private schools (Pinetown girls high, Pinetown boys high, Pinetown junior, Senior primary school, John wesley primary school, Elangeni college), the Pinecrest Shopping Mall, Pinewalk Centre, and a municipality office that is centrally located to its residents.
