Hillcrest

Hillcrest is situated on a crest or the Valley of a 1000 Hills. The vacant land has been given over to retirement villages, equestrian estates, golf estates, and gated security communities. This lush retreat still manages to maintain its country feel, despite its property boom in the market. The name Hillcrest is due to its location of being on a crest of a Hill. Over the years, Hillcrest has become quite established, being in close proximity to many amenities such as schools, churches, shopping centres, a private hospital, commercial office parks and Willow Creek Animal Farm. One of its main attractions is the popular Shongweni Farmers Market, a magnificent place to purchase organic and fresh produce. Hillcrest still has a village feel, while still offering a number of retail centres to choose from, each offering something different to patrons.
